We want it all: The six-figure career, the six-pack, the girl and a life flowing with freedom. Guess what, we can! There is only one thing that could possibly get in the way and that is our beliefs about not being enough. We all have dreams, we all have goals, and we all struggle in some area of our lives with the self- confidence necessary to go after these aspirations.
What exactly is self-confidence? According to Dr. Jacobs “self confidence can be defined as the ability or belief in yourself that you can accomplish any task, no matter the odds, no matter the difficulty, no matter the adversity.” Search no farther my friends, here are 5 simple steps to build unshakable self confidence.
- Our thoughts: Man becomes what he thinks about, it is a universal truth. Confident people are not negative people, it is as simple as that. Imagine there are two men with similar ideals and goals for their future. One man is a magnet for amazing women and lives a life full of freedom. He holds the belief system that everything always works out for him, he’s worthy, and valuable. The other man ruins all his relationships and can’t figure out his career path. He has a belief system that nothing ever works our for him and that life is hard. This belief system reinforces this truth and keeps him alone and lost. Our thoughts create our reality. Start thinking you are confident and you will be. Confidence is a self-fulfilling prophecy: People who think of themselves as the most valuable in the company have the highest salaries.
- Health: Our bodies are our temples, and food, water and exercise are our prayers. We become what we eat. This is why we need to be aware of what we put in our systems. We wouldn’t put contaminated gasoline in our new Tesla, would we? So why in hell would we put candy bars and chips into our bodies? We wouldn’t! Instead we eat healthy, exercise regularly & treat our temples with consciousness. This shift in awareness will have us feeling better, looking better, living longer and increasing our self-confidence tremendously!
Testosterone: This primary sex hormone in men can fall off balance for a number of reasons. When it does, it negatively affects men in terms of lowered sex drive, increased general body inflammation, mood swings, loss of body or facial hair, fatigue, increased body fat, loss of bone mass, and lowered semen count. The good news is that there is an ancient remedy available called Shilajit.
This natural testosterone balancer contains amino acids, 82+ minerals, tons of antioxidants and various chemical complexes. It’s proven to increase erectile capacity, sexual performance, stops hair thinning and promotes hair follicle growth, increases sex hormones, and improves fertility.
- Goal setting: Our level of self-confidence is a crucial factor in everything we accomplish and don’t accomplish. When we have self-confidence, we try many things and set high goals for ourselves. The more goals we set, the more likely it is that we will achieve them. Our goals may be related to work, personal, or even just a fun running bucket list. The important piece to remember is that they are measurable and actionable. Then schedule each step into your calendar so you can hold yourself accountable. Set short term goals for the day ahead as well as long term goals for the months and years ahead. Finally, remember to celebrate your successes and achievements!
- Laughter: Don’t forget to take things lightly and laugh at yourself and life. Laughter is the best medicine we have, it releases stress, it’s free and available at a moments notice. Many of us take life too seriously when in reality it is a giant video game. When we find ourselves forgetting the game we live in and instead focusing too much on boring adult stuff like finances and finding the perfect partner, simply stop and breathe. Then laugh it out as you remember the giant game you are playing called life.
Here you are my friends with 5 simple steps to becoming unshakably confident. Remember thoughts, health, testosterone, setting goals and laughing is all we need in order to change our lives right here and now.
