Dr. Nurten Abaci Kaplan holds a PhD in Pharmacognosy from Gazi University (2019-2024) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the same institution. With over 7 years of laboratory and research experience, she specialises in the biological activity of medicinal plants, herbal supplements, and natural cosmetic formulations.

Her research employs advanced analytical techniques including HPLC, LC-QTOF-MS, and GC mass spectrometry. She has published 8 papers in SCI journals, 4 in non-SCI journals, 2 book chapters with Elsevier and Springer, and one book. She has additional knowledge in Ayurveda and aromatherapy, and has conducted research on enzyme inhibition relevant to hair loss, skin aging, and cognitive health.

She has extensive experience working with biohacking and wellness brands and holds an additional certification in Writing in the Sciences from Stanford University.

Victoria Ward is a Medical Herbalist with a BSc in Herbal Medicine from the University of Lincoln and over 20 years of clinical experience in herbal medicine and Ayurveda. During her degree she completed a clinical placement at an Ayurvedic clinic in Kerala, India, where she developed a deep practical understanding of Ayurvedic medicine that remains central to her practice today.

A former NHS Nurse, she combines the rigour of evidence-based medicine with deep expertise in botanical therapeutics. She is the founder of The Nomadic Herbalist, an active herbal medicine consultancy and content practice, and has conducted field research into traditional herbal systems across Morocco, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, and Tunisia.
